Kingsday 2019

For Sergio Tee last weekend was bigger n better than last years Kingsday,
The classics player started on Kingsnight with an amazing 5-hour set at The Tara where he plays almost weekly and on Kingsday he did two incredible gigs.

On Kingsday he and some close friends went to the Tara for a coffee and some food before he started his first performance of the day.
At 1 PM they arrived at the Reguliersdwarsstraat.
This area is also called Secret Village and Sergio was booked by Rob Boskamp to play there at the event called Lekker Dwars with hit singer Lee Wilson.
It was a fantastic performance, but it was raining and it was very cold.
Although the rain, Sergio Tee and Lee Wilson had so much fun on stage together, it was all great energy.

From the Reguliersdwarsstraat Sergio Tee had to walk to Amstelveld for his performance at the event Nel Danst by Brasserie Nel. Weeks earlier Tee was invited by Dennis van der Geest to play one hour. And it was an incredible hour! Sergio took it over from Andor and played a lot of classics, starting with George Morel’s Let’s Groove from 1994. It was fantastic! there was heavy rain for a few minutes during his set, but the crowd loved the music and stayed. Then the sun was shining and the energy was so awesome.

Sergio Tee hopes to play on gigs like these next year again, especially on Amstelveld. It was so much fun.
All day was fun! It’s the day where get-togethers are so important with close friends and family.
