ADE 2024: The Aftermath

For Sergio Tee this ADE was another one with one important day. The week was fully loaded with online stuff for ADE including the ADE 2024 mix set which is available on Mixcloud. This mix set contains three Sergio Tee tunes and some classics too. The ADE 2024 is now number 6 in the Dutch House!! On Friday Sergio played in The Hague at The Gyros Club. The Saturday October 19th was the big day!

This Saturday was the day to catch him from 10.00 till 18.00 at the AMW studio at the NDSM in Amsterdam. First to check some stuff in the studio and working out some important technical things forcthe stream during the AMW ADE DJ MARATHON which was on since Wednesday October 16. At 11.00 in the morning Sergio started his set for AMW. ‘This time I wanted to do something different. Some weeks ago I was playing the album Oxygene by Jean Michel Jarre. And tbis album really inspired me to use the first track. So I created an interlude of it and put and an acapella by Noir on it. The crowd reacted fabulous on it. That was really awesome to see!’ At 12.00 Sergio Tee finished his set and started his shift at AMW. During his shift Juliet Mendoza, Delmar Browne and Sweet Georgie played their sets.

In the evening it was time for Café De Oude Schaeper. Sergio was invited to play there prime time and it was awesome! He started his set with a huge classic, then he played some tracks from this year and finished his incredible set with classics. De Oude Schaeper was ON!

‘ADE 2024 is one to look back on with a huge smile. I have some ideas for future stuff and I worked today my ass off to create new stuff already. For example The Gyros Club in The Hague gets a new playlist, we are focussing on different styles in music now because soon they will focus on a club they will open soon. As soon as the club open doors we have the sound already there and people will recognize it. And so… DJs can play their club tracks over there then, not just afro and soulful anymore, but really nice club tunes. Another job is Bij Broere in IJsselstein. I’m gonna work there with Vision Events and do some stuff there. November 1 we do a Disco Grooves night and November 15 a techno event.’
