PRIDE 2024
Last Saturday Sergio Tee played three gigs, three different sets, in hree different outfits and on three different locations. And all for one thing: PRIDE!
First Sergio opened the event Reguliers Celebrates: Pride in the Reguliersdwarsstraat.
Standing in the booth high on a bus he played his tracks he made with WhiteTronicZ and some classics.
It was a set of 1 hour fully loaded with some sing-a-longs and some cool tech house. The street was getting crowded really fast and the energy was awesome!
At 17.00 Sergio Tee visited some special friends who support him from the first moments when he started his career in 2015.
After a nice break Sergio went to De Zeedijk to close the enormous Pride Street Party hosted by Coby Van Dam. He had some friends with him to support him and the street was full with love.
Sergio Tee worked a week on the interlude and it was actually kind of the same one he played at KINGSDAY earlier this year. This time he opened with Donna Summer’s I Feel Love. Immediately people sang along and the atmosphere was awesome!
Sergio played a lot of classic tunes and build up the energy from start to end.
The crowd was amazing!
Everybody was sing along with the good old tracks and the energy was high. Sometimes Sergio played only a small part of a tune to keep up that energy, he manages to use moments like that as a bridge to a next part. When he played Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) by Euryhmics it was insane, the whole street was singing. A brilliant night on De Zeedijk!
After his two hours set Sergio took the mic, thanked everyone for coming and told the crowd that the bars outside were still open till 01.00 and that we continue inside Café The Queen’s Head.
Inside The Queen’s Head Sergio continued his trip down memory lane with classic after classic. It was a full house and full till 03.00 in the night. The last 30 minutes Sergio went back to where it all started: iT.
In 1994 he started doing audition to become a dancer in the hottest club of Europe, the rest is history. In this last half an hour at Café The Queen’s Head he played really the classics from iT and it really brought back some memories in the crowd too.
PRIDE 2024 was absolutely one of the best for Sergio Tee and the great energy from the crowd is always the best thing a DJ can get.
