We Are iT Festival

On April 13th Sergio Tee had to play at the sold out We Are iT Festival. It was a milestone because the location was Thuishaven en the stage he had to play at was the iT stage. So in a way it felt like it all came full circle.

“I was so nervous to play at the Mainstage while I’ve done that several times on other events, but this one had a deeper meaning. iT was the place where I started in the entertainment at the age of 16. iT was, because of that, also the place where I started to grow up. iT was definitely the place where I got the overall creativity in me activated. And now, so many many years later, I had to play the records on that stage I used to dance on at iT. Yeah, for me it is a ‘some kind of full circle thingie’.”

Sergio played several tracks that appeared on one of the iT CDs, but he also played tunes that were not on one of the albums. For example his set started with Sagat/Luvstuff, and later on he played Smooth Touch/House Of Love. The crowd went wild and you can hear that clearly in the videos Sergio posted on his Instagram. Those 60 minutes was gone so quickly and it was full with good energy. That April 13 th was fantastic!
